We do not sell user data. We only collect and process the information needed to provide DocuParse, process documents, manage accounts, enforce usage limits, handle payments, maintain security, and improve reliability.

Payment card details are handled directly by our payment provider. DocuParse does not store full card numbers.
2. Uploaded Documents
DocuParse processes uploaded documents to extract structured data.
Uploaded documents and extracted results may be stored while your account or workspace exists so you can view previous documents, extraction results, dashboard metrics, usage history, and API activity.
If you delete a document using available product tools, we will remove or make unavailable the related document record and files according to the app's deletion behavior.
Some technical logs, billing records, backups, or security records may be retained for a limited time where needed for legal, security, fraud prevention, abuse prevention, or operational reasons.
3. AI and OCR Processing
DocuParse may use OCR, rule-based parsing, and AI fallback to extract or validate document information. When AI fallback is used, only the information needed for extraction or validation is processed. AI fallback usage may also be tracked to enforce plan limits and show usage metrics.
4. How We Use Information
We do not sell user data. We only collect and process the information needed to provide DocuParse, process documents, manage accounts, enforce usage limits, handle payments, maintain security, and improve reliability.
Specifically, we use collected information to:
- create and manage user accounts
- authenticate users
- process uploaded documents and extract structured data
- display document history and extraction results
- provide API access
- enforce plan limits and usage quotas
- track document credits and AI fallback limits
- process payments and subscriptions
- improve reliability and detect errors
- protect the service from abuse or unauthorized use
- provide support when requested
5. How We Store Information
DocuParse may store account data, workspace data, document metadata, uploaded files, extracted text, extracted structured data, usage logs, and billing status using trusted third-party providers for hosting, authentication, database, and storage.
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect stored information, but no online service can guarantee perfect security.
6. Data Sharing
We do not sell user documents, extracted data, or account information.
We may use trusted third-party providers for hosting, authentication, database/storage, payment processing, security, infrastructure, and document/AI processing. These providers may process limited information only as needed to provide the service.
We may also disclose information if required by law, legal process, fraud prevention, security protection, or to enforce our Terms of Service.
7. Payment Data
Payments are processed by a payment provider. DocuParse does not directly store full payment card numbers. We may store payment-related metadata such as plan name, billing status, customer/subscription identifiers, billing period, and payment status so we can manage access to paid features.
8. API Keys
Users may create API keys to access DocuParse programmatically.
API keys should be kept private. We may store API key records or hashed/secured versions of API keys to authenticate requests, track usage, and prevent abuse.
9. Data Retention
We keep information for as long as needed to provide the service, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, prevent abuse, enforce agreements, and maintain business records.
Uploaded documents and extracted results may be stored while your account or workspace exists unless deleted by the user or removed by us.

Users are responsible for protecting their login credentials and API keys.

DocuParse is intended for business and developer use. It is not intended for children.

By using the service, you understand that your information may be processed where our providers operate.
